Need:
Various Sizes Broken Concrete
Dry Mortar
Gravel
Sand
Rounded Spade
Straight Edged Spade
Broom
Water hose with nozzle

How to:
1) Use rounded spade to excavate area for walkway.  Digging 6 to 7 inches deep.

2) Add 2 inches of gravel over entire area - this helps with drainage.

3) Add 3 inches of sand over entire area - this is base for recycled concrete.

4) Lay pieces of broken concrete  out and decide what design you want for your walkway.

5) Once you've placed your concrete pieces, use the straight edged spade to shovel dry mortar across top of entire walkway area.

6) Sweep over entire walkway using the broom to get mortar into all cracks and in between all concrete pieces.

7) Water down with hose.

8) Allow to dry.
